Usage:
- Sprains, strains, or other injuries.
- Pain and swelling after surgery.
- Painful menstrual periods.
- Migraine attacks.
- Back pain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, and other forms of soft-tissue rheumatism.
- Infections of the ear, nose or throat etc.
Composition/Ingredients:
Each Catafast 50 mg tablets contains.........Diclofenac potassium 50 mg.Diclofenac is an anti-inflammatory drug used to reduce inflammation and as an analgesic reducing pain in certain conditions. It is supplied as or contained in medications under a variety of trade names.
How to take Catafast Tablets:
It is recommended to take the medicine before your meal. For further information contact your doctor.Side effects of Catafast Tablets:
Usually the Catafast tablets are not taken for more than 4 weeks (50 mg to 100 mg per day). If taken for more than 4 weeks the patient may suffer the following uncommon side effects:- Chest pain / Signs of heart attack.
- Difficulty in breathing.
- Rash, itching, hives, dizziness.
- Impaired Memory
- Anxiety
- Fever, Vomiting, Head ache etc.
Contraindications of Catafast tablets:
Patients having following problems should not use the Catafast tablets:- Patients with heart problems.
- Pregnant women or planning a pregnancy.
- If a woman is breastfeeding.
- Patients who suffer from peptic ulcers or intestinal bleeding.
- Patients with Crohn's and ulcerative colitis.
- Patients with cardiovascular disease.
- Patients with impaired hepatic function.
- Patients with impaired kidney function.
- Children younger than a year.
