What is Biofreeze Gel and Why it is used / Indication:

 Biofreeze is an analgesic pain relieving gel, it quickly relieves the pain of muscular, articular or post-traumatic injuries. It also limits the spread of edema. Biofreeze is indicated for fracture, sprains, contusions, elongations, breakdowns and various other traumas. It is a simple and rapid treatment of above given problems.

Common Indications of Biofreeze Gel:

  • In case of injury 
  • During rehabilitation and a functional rehabilitation

Composition of Biofreeze Gel:

Isopropyl alcohol, water, plant extracts (ilex parguensis), glycerin, propylene glycol, carbomer, triethanolamine, menthol, camphor, silicon dioxide, methylparaben, dyes E 102, E 133. Because also includes menthole for fragrance and freshness.

How to use Biofreeze Gel:

  • Apply a thin layer of biofreeze on painful / affected area.
  • Gently massage on the area at which gel is applied.
  • Wash your hands with water after the application.
  • Use maximum 3 to 4 times a day until patient is fully treated.

Instructions to use Biofreeze Gel:

  • Do not use on children less than 6 years of age.
  • Immediately stop using the gel if it causes rash, irritation, redness or any other problem.
  • Also stop using Biofreeze Gel if it doesn't make any difference / improvement in the condition. 
  • Avoid contact with eyes and never apply it on wounds.
  • Do not use electric heaters or other sources of heat during the treatment as it can cause irritation or burn your skin.
